Sales Support Specialist

Qualifications and Detail about the Position


A Sales Support Specialist assists clients through each step of the sales process, helping them resolve any concerns or questions they may have while processing, tracking, and shipping orders efficiently. They also identify and create lists of potential clients while maintaining the sales database.

  • Promote, demonstrate, and instill ScaffSource’s safety and culture in all aspects of the business.

  • Compiling daily lists of leads and delegating them to sales team associates

  • Maintaining an accessible and organized filing system for sales and administrative professionals

  • Provide assistance to management team members and executives, as needed

  • Performing data entry duties regarding metrics, sales figures, and other key data

  • Creating and processing sales in a timely manner

  • Expediting request rush orders and altering sales orders and shipping information, as required

  • Reporting any unusual activity to supervisors

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to interface effectively with various levels of management, customers, and parts of operations

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Education & Experience:

  • Customer Service 2+ Years

  • Microsoft Suite skills
